Industrial sustainability and innovation: the Esseco model presented to UPO students

12 December, 2024

Thanks to the kind invitation of Professor Eliana Baici, Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department for Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition (DiSSTE), we had the pleasure of meeting with students from the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (GASS) at the University of Eastern Piedmont.

It was a valuable opportunity to share our approach to sustainability and the projects of the Italian companies within Esseco Industrial, demonstrating how innovation, responsibility, and collaboration can concretely contribute to building a more sustainable future.

During the meeting, we presented:

  • The structure of our industrial division and the relevant regulatory framework
  • Our certifications and the ESG standards that guide our operations
  • Our circular economy initiatives and innovative production processes that reduce waste and enhance resource value
  • Ongoing projects and current calls for proposals, including major investments in renewable energy and sustainability
  • Our communication activities aimed at raising awareness and engaging stakeholders and communities

For Esseco Industrial, sustainability is not just a value—it is an operational strategy

We extend our sincere thanks to the University of Eastern Piedmont and the GASS students for their enthusiasm and insightful exchange.
