Esseco Group Sustainability Report – A new chapter in our sustainability journey

Esseco Group has just released its first consolidated Sustainability Report, a milestone that reflects our long-standing commitment to building a responsible and forward-looking industrial future.

For Esseco Industrial, this is not a starting point, but an evolution. After two years of sustainability reporting by our Italian chemical companies Esseco S.r.l. and Altair Chemical, we are proud to share a broader, more integrated vision — one that unites all our sites, sectors, and people under the same ESG strategy.

The report highlights:

• Increasing use of renewable energy — well above the threshold required for energy-intensive industries
• A 4% reduction in Scope 1+2 emissions (location-based)
• -14% in raw material use, -8% in water withdrawal, -10% in waste generated
• Over 22,000 hours of training provided to employees
• A team of over 1,100 people, 97% of whom are on permanent contracts
