Work is progressing on the conversion of the former swimming pool at Pala Dal Lago in Novara into an accessible, multidisciplinary sports hall, designed in particular to host inclusive sporting activities for people with disabilities.
After the pool basin was closed with a reinforced concrete slab and the first demolition works were carried out in the areas that will become changing rooms and offices, the site is now entering a new phase: the safe removal of materials containing asbestos, the structural reinforcement of the pillars and the subsequent installation of the new roof.
For Esseco, this project is a concrete way to contribute to the regeneration of a historic city space and return it to the community with a new social, sporting and inclusive purpose.
We believe in the value of sport as a driver of participation, independence and personal growth. That is why we are proud to support a project that is transforming an unused site into a facility capable of creating opportunities, connections and value for the local area.
Step by step, a new space for Novara is taking shape: open, accessible and designed for everyone. A space that will be managed by Polisportiva San Giacomo, an organisation Esseco has been pleased to support for some time and whose daily commitment to inclusive sport we are proud to stand behind.
