From potassium hydroxide supplied by Altair Chemical to potassium formate sourced from Addcon, SAFEGRIP® ECO2 reflects a shared industrial ecosystem built on expertise, reliability and common ESG objectives.
An independent Life Cycle Assessment conducted by the University of Surrey confirmed the environmental advantages of this model, highlighting:
• 16% lower Global Warming Potential (GWP)
• 41% reduction in fine particulate emissions
• 23% lower freshwater eutrophication
The study also demonstrated another key aspect: thanks to its higher efficiency and longer holdover performance, SAFEGRIP® ECO2 requires lower application rates, further reducing operational emissions during use.
